Paolo Di Canios agent says there is no truth in reports the Italian has applied for the vacant managerial position at Rotherham United. On Monday, Rotherham sacked Neil Redfearn after just four months in charge at the New York Stadium, with the club languishing in 22nd place in the Sky Bet Championship. Reports suggested Di Canio had previously submitted an application for the managerial position in September when Rotherham parted company with Steve Evans. There is no truth in this. Paolo did not apply the first time, he has never applied for the Rotherham job, Di Canios representative, Phil Spencer, told Sky Sports. Theres 100 per cent no truth in this.
