SEATTLE -- The Seattle Mariners bolstered their bullpen by acquiring right-hander Arquimedes Caminero from?Pittsburgh?and switch-pitcher Pat Venditte from?Toronto?in a pair of trades Saturday.Both deals Seattle made were for players to be named later. Seattle will be sending two players to Pittsburgh for Caminero and one to Toronto for Venditte. The Mariners announced Venditte would report to Triple-A Tacoma, while Caminero will report to Seattle.Caminero is 1-2 with a 3.51 ERA in 39 appearances for the Pirates. Hes struggled with control, walking 22 batters in 41 innings pitched, but throws in the upper 90s. Caminero appeared in 73 games last season for Pittsburgh and also pitched parts of two seasons with Miami.Caminero is expected to join the Mariners on Monday. He pitched against Seattle recently giving up two hits and striking out one in one inning against the Mariners on July 26.Actually had pretty good success.
