TORONTO - The Kansas City Royals have recalled right-hander Aaron Brooks from Triple-A Omaha to start against the Blue Jays on Saturday and optioned utilityman Jimmy Paredes to Triple-A. He did not need it to get here, as his other fine qualities got him to Barcelona but it will be an element that he will have to master to vault in the standings and contend for gold.
