Stephanie Pascal turned away 26-of-29 shots for the Lady Wolves (3-3-0). Bourassa opened the scoring for Weyburn at 10:41 of the second period and Pirlot doubled her clubs lead 44 seconds into the third with a power-play goal. Smith made it a three-goal game at 7:57. The Gold Wings went 1 for 6 on the power play while Sudbury failed to score on four chances with the man advantage. In the other semifinal, the Edmonton Thunder needed a shootout to slip past the Stoney Creek Sabres 2-1. Jessica Healey opened the scoring for the Thunder 2:18 into the first before Claire Merrick responded for the Sabres at 16:07 of the third to force extra time.
