Sebastian Vettel admitted his decision to go against Ferraris strategy at the German Grand Prix was a mistake and prevented him from finishing higher than fifth.In the closing stages at Hockenheim, Vettel asked to stay out when Ferrari called him in for his final pit stop, reasoning that his tyres still felt good.
