If Buffalo Sabres general manager Tim Murray had to guess, goaltender Ryan Miller would prefer not to wear the only NHL jersey hes ever played in past the March 5 trade deadline. Eric Tomlinson Jersey . Speaking to reporters before the Sabres first game since the Olympic break on Tuesday, Murray said more than two teams, but "less than 10", have inquired about the goaltender and that Miller probably wouldnt mind a fresh start. "I dont think signing here is his first choice at his age, where were at," he said. "Were the 30th-place team." And although Murray says re-signing Miller is realistic, its the clubs current position at the bottom of the standings that appears to be forcing the rookie GMs hand. "Its not the route were looking at right now. The route were looking at is to get value for him," he said. After a 3-2 win over the Carolina Hurricanes in which Miller made 36 saves and had two assists, the goaltender didnt disagree with anything his general manager said. "The things that theyre going to have to do are probably going to come during the trade deadline, and maybe Im one of them," he said. "I dont want to close anything off right now, but I know theyre kind of looking around for opportunity. I think thats probably best for everybody." The 33-year-old was selected by the Sabres in the fifth round (138th overall) of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. He has been the teams starter for the last nine seasons. Miller is the Sabres all-time leader among goaltenders in games played (540), wins (284) and trails only Dominik Hasek in shutouts (28). His tenure and accomplishments in Buffalo are not lost on Murray when he fields calls from other GMs. "Players that treat you right and have played hard for you over the years, you try to do whats best for them too, as long as it fits into what youre doing," he said. "And by trading Ryan to a contender, a good team that maybe is lacking only his position, I think that weve certainly not done a disservice to him and weve helped the organization in our own right. Our goal, I think from both sides, is to pursue a proper trade." A proper trade, according to Murray in "a perfect world" would give the Sabres young players a few years into their development. Murray says he doesnt necessarily want to start from scratch with draft picks, but that he will if need be. "I dont think teams are going to bend over backwards to make life easier for us, so its going to be the determination to be made on what the best deal is offered and if its draft picks, its draft picks and well turn them into assets and players," he said. Another Sabre that Murray says is attracting a fair bit of attention is captain Steve Ott. Both Miller and Ott are impending unrestricted free agents. Once again, Buffalos dismal record has handcuffed Murray into making a decision on a player he feels could help any team. "The way (Ott) plays the game, the way he conducts himself, thats not the type of player that I want to trade away, thats the type of players I want to bring in, he said. "Its the type of player weve been trying to bring into the teams Ive been with and were not a playoff team so that changes the dynamic, obviously." Murray also confirmed hes had talks with interim head coach Ted Nolan about a contract extension. "Were along that path," Murray said. Nolan took over behind the bench in place of Ron Rolston last November. Josh McCown Jersey . According to a report from ESPN, sources said Manuels college coach Jimbo Fisher told teams he didnt think Manuel had the tools to be an NFL starter. Wayne Chrebet Jersey . -- Adam Tambellini scored three times and set up one more as the Calgary Hitmen won their sixth in a row by crushing the host Lethbridge Hurricanes 8-1 on Saturday in Western Hockey League play. http://www.officialnewyorkjetsfootball.com/authentic-nathan-shepherd-jersey-womens .ca presents its latest weekly power rankings for the 2013-14 Barclays Premier League season.Lewis Hamilton says a fourth title seemed impossible after his crash with Nico Rosberg at the Spanish GP - and has vowed to keep the fallout from the incident a secret. Hamilton was 43 points behind his Mercedes team-mate when the duo collided on the first lap in Barcelona and in a UBS Q&A session, which was streamed live on Facebook, the world champion has opened up on the mental affects it had on him.He has now recovered to within one point of Rosberg at the halfway stage of the season after winning back-to-back grands prix, and admits he has changed immensely through his nine years in Formula 1. When I was younger, if I had a bad race I was so hard on myself, he said. It was really negative. I remember some races I wouldnt leave my hotel room for three or four days, wouldnt speak to anyone, not being on my phone, I was just trying to get myself out of this dark place that Id be in. Somehow Id pop out of it and turn it into positive. I think thats what youve got to try and do. Youve got to look at the situation, even if its really negative, youve got to try and find the positives from it and leave the negatives behind. Try and learn from it. Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg were involved in a dramatic crash on the first lap of the Spanish Grand Prix which has seen both men retire from the race I look at Barcelona for example this year. It was a massive low for me. Theres things you wont know until I retire that I tell you that I experienced. I got up the next day and I went for a run, thats my process, through my run Im thinking about lots of different things. Its crazy to think that the 43-point deficit I had at the time, which seemed impossible - Im only human so those days I feel like it seemed impossible - youve just got to keep going, as painful as it can be, as hard as it can be.Is Hamilton playing mind games? You might get over it quickly, it might take longer but you just have to keep going. Its not how you fall, its how you get up from those experiences that you can become stronger. I feel Im stronger right now than I was at the beginning. I dont do everything perfect, I make mistakes. Theres days when I thought, the worlds coming to an end, Im never going to win this championship blah blah blah, I have those same things we all have. Somehow I try to find the positives in it. Look wheere I am now, Im one point behind in the championship. Wesley Walker Jersey. Im even surprised. Im like, if I had given up at one point… it just shows you to never ever ever give up no matter what. Hamilton is third on the list of total wins, and total poles in Formula 1, while he can become the first Brit to claim more than three championships this year. But the 31-year-old says he is not motivated by any records and, despite the possibility of Ferrari making a move, he expects to see out another five years in the sport with Mercedes, with his current deal lasting until 2018.There isnt a final goal, he said. People have been asking me, do you want to go for Michael [Schumacher]s record?, for example. Honestly, I have zero desire in my heart to go for that. But if I happened to be fortunate enough get anywhere near there that would be amazing.I try and think to myself whats your five year plan? and try to set out to do it. Ive obviously signed for another three years with Mercedes - after that I see myself staying for another three or four years. While Im 37 Ill still be relatively young so I want to be challenged by something else. Marc Priestly thinks Lewis Hamiltons comments in the media may be affecting Nico Rosbergs performance on the track I want to be as great as I can be but I dont believe being as great as I can be is defined by someone elses record. Even if Im only here for another two years Im going to give it everything Ive got. Even if I was to stop now Id think Ive learned a lot, Ive had an amazing journey.Theres not one moment or one thing I would change because thats what got me where I am today regardless of whether you hit someones records.Watch the Hungarian GP live on Sky Sports F1.
