INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Colts have released starting cornerback Antonio Cromartie and waived starting linebacker Sio Moore.The 1-3 Colts signed Cromartie on Aug. 22 after it was determined that Pro Bowler Vontae Davis would be out with an ankle injury. It didnt take long to realize why Cromartie was still on the free market in late August.The four-time Pro Bowler struggled throughout and his play with the Colts was summed up by one series during their Week 4 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. Cromartie was beaten twice and called for two penalties on a drive where the Jaguars managed to get a field goal as the first half came to an end. Cromartie was benched in favor of Rashaan Melvin in the second half.He reacted to his release on Instagram.Moore became the starter at inside linebacker after the team released Nate Irving in early September.
