CHICAGO -- Baltimore Orioles third baseman Manny Machado became the second player in major league history to homer in the first, second and third innings.Machado hit a two-run homer in the first and a three-run shot in the second off Chicago White Sox right-hander James Shields, who allowed four home runs in 1 1/3 innings Sunday. Machado connected again for a two-run homer off reliever Matt Albers in the third as the Orioles built a 10-0 lead.According to STATS, the only other player to hit three homers in the first three innings was Carl Reynolds of the White Sox on July 2, 1930 at the New York Yankees.
